Book Publishing Terms

1. Ownership & Rights
The author retains full copyright ownership of their work unless otherwise stated in writing. By submitting materials, the author grants permission for formatting, editing, and publication as outlined in the chosen publishing package.
1. Overview
These Book Publishing Terms outline the agreement between YouAskWeCreate (“we,” “our,” or “the service provider”) and the client (“you,” “the author,” or “the customer”) regarding book design, formatting, editing, and publishing services. By purchasing or engaging in our publishing services, you agree to the following terms.
2. Service Scope
Each publishing package includes the specific services described at the time of purchase, such as:
Editing and formatting according to your chosen plan (Mini, Standard, Pro, etc.)
Design and layout suitable for print or digital release
eBook and print submission for supported platforms such as Amazon KDP or Google Books (when applicable)
Additional customization, cover design, or marketing services may be available upon request and will be quoted separately.
3. Content Responsibility
You remain the sole owner and author of all submitted content. You are responsible for ensuring that your manuscript and materials:
Do not infringe on copyrights or trademarks
Do not contain prohibited, defamatory, or plagiarized content
Are properly proofread prior to final submission
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel projects containing inappropriate or unlawful material.
4. Copyright & Rights
All copyrights remain with you, the author.
You grant YouAskWeCreate the limited right to:
Edit, format, and prepare your content for publication
Display or reference your project in our professional portfolio (only with your permission)
5. Payments & Refunds
All publishing services are prepaid.
Once work has started — including editing, formatting, or design — no refunds will be issued.
Payments cover time, tools, and labor involved in your custom publishing service.
If you cancel before work begins, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion, minus administrative fees.
6. Revisions
Your package includes a defined number of revisions as stated in your service plan.
Additional revisions or file adjustments outside the original scope may incur extra charges.
7. Distribution & Submission
For services including digital or print distribution, we assist in preparing and submitting files to publishing platforms (e.g., Amazon, Google Books).
However, approval or publication on these platforms is not guaranteed and depends on their individual review processes.
8. Confidentiality
All manuscripts, ideas, and materials shared with us remain confidential.
We do not share or reproduce your content outside the purpose of the project.
9. Liability
YouAskWeCreate is not liable for:
Content errors, omissions, or typos within the submitted manuscript
Platform delays or rejections
Loss of data due to client-side technical issues
You are responsible for reviewing all proofs and approving final versions before publication.
10. Agreement
By submitting payment or confirming your order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Book Publishing Terms.
These terms are subject to change at any time to maintain compliance and service quality.
